How Affiliate Sales and Recruitment Commissions Work
A clear overview of how qualifying sales are tracked and how commissions are calculated and paid directly by CDJ Enterprises.
Affiliate B is never responsible for paying Affiliate A. AffiliateWP records the recruiting relationship and calculates the eligible direct and recruitment commissions. CDJ Enterprises then pays each affiliate separately through its approved payout process.
How a qualifying sale moves through the program
Follow the transaction from the customer’s purchase to the calculation of both eligible commissions.
Customer
Purchases a book or other qualifying product using Affiliate B’s personal referral link or promotional code.
AffiliateWP and CDJ Enterprises
Record and verify the qualifying sale, identify Affiliate B as the Selling Affiliate, and determine whether Affiliate B has an eligible Recruiting Affiliate.
Affiliate B
Selling Affiliate
Earns a direct commission equal to 50% of the qualifying sale price.
Affiliate A
Recruiting Affiliate
Earns a recruitment commission equal to 50% of Affiliate B’s direct commission when the sale qualifies under the program rules.
Centralized Payout
CDJ Enterprises pays Affiliate B’s direct sales commission and Affiliate A’s recruitment commission through separate, company-controlled payout records.
Understanding the affiliate relationship
Affiliate A and Affiliate B have separate accounts, responsibilities, commission records, and company-issued payouts.
Introduces Affiliate B
Affiliate A refers Affiliate B to the program. After the relationship is properly recorded, Affiliate A may earn a recruitment commission when Affiliate B generates qualifying product sales.
Generates the qualifying sale
Affiliate B promotes CDJ products through a personal referral link or promotional code and earns the full direct sales commission established for affiliates.
Example: a $10.99 qualifying sale
AffiliateWP calculates both commissions from the same verified transaction.
Customer pays

$5.50 Approximately 50% of the sale priceAffiliate A earns
$2.75 Approximately 50% of Affiliate B’s commissionAffiliate B receives approximately $5.50, and Affiliate A receives approximately $2.75. The Recruiting Affiliate’s payment is approximately 25% of the original $10.99 qualifying sale price. CDJ Enterprises pays both commissions directly.
What every affiliate should understand
Every affiliate earns a 50% commission on their own qualifying sales.
An affiliate’s personal sales commission does not depend on recruiting another affiliate.
Only one Recruiting Affiliate may be associated with a Selling Affiliate for commission purposes.
The Recruiting Affiliate earns 50% of the Selling Affiliate’s direct commission on eligible sales.
The recruitment commission is approximately 25% of the original qualifying sale price.
AffiliateWP records the sale and calculates both eligible commissions.
CDJ Enterprises pays Affiliate A and Affiliate B separately.
No affiliate is responsible for collecting, withholding, or forwarding another affiliate’s commission.
Commissions are earned only from qualifying product sales and remain subject to verification, refunds, reversals, and the Affiliate Agreement.
