Shipping Policy
This Shipping Policy explains how CDJ Enterprises processes, ships, tracks, and delivers physical products purchased through the CDJ Books online store.
Important: Shipping dates shown at checkout are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. Please review your shipping address carefully before submitting an order.
01
Scope of This Policy
This Shipping Policy applies to physical products purchased directly through the CDJ Enterprises website, including printed books, bundles, and other merchandise that requires delivery.
This policy does not apply to:
- Digital downloads.
- Ebooks.
- Audiobooks delivered electronically.
- Products purchased from third-party retailers.
- Orders fulfilled under a separate wholesale agreement.
Third-party retailers and marketplaces apply their own shipping and delivery policies.
02
Shipping Regions
CDJ Enterprises ships only to destinations presented as available during checkout.
Complete before publication: Confirm whether the store currently ships within the continental United States only, all U.S. states and territories, Canada, or additional international destinations.
If a destination is not available in the shipping selector, we are not currently able to accept direct website orders for that destination.
Shipping availability may vary according to product type, fulfillment partner, carrier coverage, import restrictions, and applicable law.
03
Order Processing Times
Order processing is the period between receiving an order and transferring it to the shipping carrier.
Complete before publication: Insert the normal processing timeframe that CDJ Enterprises can consistently meet, such as “2–4 business days.”
Processing time does not include carrier transit time.
Orders placed on weekends, holidays, or outside normal business hours may begin processing on the next business day.
Processing may take longer for:
- Preorders.
- Signed or personalized products.
- Large-quantity orders.
- Educator or wholesale purchases.
- Orders requiring address verification.
- Orders flagged for fraud or payment review.
- Periods of unusually high demand.
04
Shipping Methods and Carriers
Available shipping methods and carriers will ordinarily be displayed during checkout.
Depending on the destination and product, orders may be shipped through:
- United States Postal Service.
- UPS.
- FedEx.
- A fulfillment or distribution partner.
- Another carrier selected for the order.
CDJ Enterprises may select or substitute a comparable carrier when reasonably necessary, provided the substitution does not materially reduce the purchased shipping service.
05
Delivery Estimates
Estimated delivery time includes the carrier’s transit period after the order has been processed and shipped.
Delivery estimates may vary based on:
- Destination.
- Shipping method.
- Carrier capacity.
- Weather.
- Holiday volume.
- Customs processing.
- Natural disasters or other disruptions.
Unless expressly presented as guaranteed, delivery dates are estimates and not guarantees.
We do not recommend relying on a standard estimated delivery date for a time-sensitive event unless sufficient additional time has been allowed.
06
Shipping Costs
Shipping charges are calculated and displayed before an order is submitted.
Shipping costs may be based on:
- Product weight and dimensions.
- Number of products ordered.
- Destination.
- Selected carrier and service level.
- Packaging and fulfillment requirements.
- Applicable promotions or free-shipping thresholds.
Customers should review the complete order total, including shipping and applicable taxes, before completing payment.
07
Shipment Confirmation and Tracking
When tracking is available, a shipment confirmation email may include:
- The carrier name.
- A tracking number.
- A tracking link.
- The date the order was transferred to the carrier.
Tracking information may take time to update after the label is created or the package is collected.
A “label created” status does not always mean the carrier has already scanned or transported the package.
08
Shipping Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
Before submitting an order, verify:
- Recipient name.
- Street number and street name.
- Apartment, unit, or suite number.
- City.
- State, province, or region.
- Postal code.
- Country.
Contact us as soon as possible if an address needs to be corrected. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after processing or fulfillment has begun.
When a package is returned because of an incomplete, incorrect, or undeliverable address, the customer may be responsible for additional reshipping charges where permitted by law.
09
Shipping Delays
CDJ Enterprises makes reasonable efforts to process and ship orders within the timeframe communicated at checkout or on the applicable product page.
If we determine that an order cannot be shipped within the promised timeframe, we may:
- Notify the customer of the delay.
- Provide a revised estimated shipping date.
- Request consent to continue with the delayed order.
- Offer the opportunity to cancel affected items.
- Issue an applicable refund when required.
Carrier delays occurring after shipment may be outside our direct control, but we will provide reasonable assistance where available.
10
Lost or Missing Packages
If tracking has not updated for an unusual period or a package has not arrived by the estimated delivery date, first review the carrier’s tracking information.
You may also wish to:
- Confirm the shipping address on the order.
- Check with household members.
- Check nearby delivery locations.
- Contact the local carrier office.
- Allow a short additional period for delayed scans.
If the package still cannot be located, contact CDJ Enterprises with:
- Your order number.
- The purchaser’s name and email address.
- The shipping address.
- The tracking number.
- A brief description of the issue.
We may need to open a carrier inquiry before determining the appropriate remedy.
11
Damaged or Incorrect Shipments
Inspect your order promptly after delivery.
Contact us when:
- An item arrives materially damaged.
- The wrong product was delivered.
- An item is missing from the package.
- The package appears to have been damaged in transit.
Include:
- Your order number.
- A description of the problem.
- Clear photographs of the product.
- Photographs of the shipping package and label.
- Any other information reasonably requested.
Keep the product and packaging until the claim has been reviewed. We may need the packaging for carrier documentation.
Approved remedies may include replacement, reshipment, partial refund, full refund, or another appropriate resolution.
12
International Shipping
International shipping is available only where expressly offered at checkout.
International customers may be responsible for:
- Customs duties.
- Import taxes.
- Brokerage charges.
- Local handling fees.
- Other government or carrier charges.
Unless checkout expressly states otherwise, these charges are not included in the product price or shipping charge collected by CDJ Enterprises.
Customs processing may delay delivery. CDJ Enterprises does not control customs inspection or clearance timelines.
Customers are responsible for confirming that ordered products may lawfully be imported into the destination country.
13
Preorders and Coming-Soon Products
A product marked “Coming Soon” is not available for immediate purchase or shipment unless the product page expressly allows preorders.
When preorders are offered:
- The estimated release or shipping period will be displayed.
- The estimate may change because of production or fulfillment delays.
- Customers will be notified of material delays when required.
- Cancellation and refund rights will follow applicable law and the stated preorder terms.
An estimated publication or release date is not necessarily a guaranteed delivery date.
14
Split Shipments
An order containing multiple products may be shipped in more than one package.
This may occur when:
- Products are stored at different fulfillment locations.
- One item is temporarily unavailable.
- A preorder is combined with an available item.
- Separate packaging is required.
Separate tracking information may be issued for each shipment.
15
Digital Products
Digital products are not physically shipped.
Ebooks, audiobooks, guides, and other downloadable materials may be delivered by:
- A download link.
- An order-confirmation page.
- Email.
- A customer account.
- A third-party delivery platform.
Digital delivery is governed by the product description, Terms and Conditions, and Returns and Refunds Policy .
16
Returns and Refunds
Shipping-related claims, returns, cancellations, and refunds are also governed by our Returns and Refunds Policy .
Original shipping charges and return-shipping charges may be treated differently depending on:
- The reason for the return.
- Whether the product was defective or incorrect.
- Whether CDJ Enterprises made the fulfillment error.
- The customer’s location and applicable law.
